Travel Hairstyles, how Do You Wear Your Hair When Travelling?
I tend to let my hair grow out of laziness. Last year, I had my hair cut only three times. This year, I changed my style completely, going for the top knot. Hair grows, so maybe I’ll go for something even bolder next.
I’ve seen many hairdos – in Asia the variety is amazing and everyone seems to be sporting a unique hairtsyle.
Being in hostels has allowed me a sneak peak into the world of travel hairstyles. The most common one is the man bun or top-knot, though I haven’t seen one quite as tight as mine. Then there are the shaggy, dishevelled looks – like the I just got out of bed look.
As long as you’re confident with the hair (or lack thereof) on your head, then you could rock anything and noone would even think twice. Purple hair styled in a mohawk would have once been a shocking fashion statement, to rebel against the oppression of societal norms. These days you might get side-eye and a passing thought about what a brat you are – nothing more. Nothing shocks, you are all unique.
