Après avoir terminé toutes les classes pour vendredi, James, Vincent et moi allaient à Brives en voiture. C’était la dernière fois qu’on verrait James au CFA car il était destiné à Paris.
After having finished all of our classes for the day, James, Vincent and I went to Brives by car. It was the last time we would see James at CFA, as he was bound for Paris to continue with his travels.
Vincent et moi on s’est promenés à travers Brives, on a pris des cafés et on a rencontrés plusieurs français locals. Les rues étaient fait en pierre et il y avait beaucoup de chemins piétons.
Vincent and I walked around Brives, we had coffee and met many French locals. The roads were all made of cobbled-stone and there were heaps of pedestrian only paths (like long plazas).
En revenant au CFA, Vincent suggérait qu’on va aux Canals des moines, à Aubazina. On est d’accord et on s’est préparé la voie par Google Maps.
Coming back to CFA, Vincent suggested we go to Canals des moines in Aubazina. We agreed and made sure we had the maps all ready so we wouldn’t get lost.
Lorsqu’on est arrivés, le chemin était très tranquil et doux. Parkour est un des loisirs de Vincent, il a sauté le canal et resauté. On a trouvé des roches, immédiatement Vincent a eu envie de grimper.
When we arrived, the path was quite gentle. Vincent does Parkour and was jumping all around the place. We found some large rocks and he immediately had the desire to start climbing.
Moi, j’ai peur de la hauteur. Il m’a encourager d’essayer et j’ai conquis la peur. On a grimpé jusqu’à la haut de la montagne. Il y avait une toute petite chapelle en haut et une statue d’un moine, je croyais. On est arrivés au moment propice, le soleil se couchait avec les couleurs brillants et radiants. C’était vraiment un truc de ouf.
I am afraid of heights. Though, he encouraged me to try- I conquered my fears. We climbed all the way to the top of the mountain. There was a small chapel and a statue, of a monk I believe. Our timing was perfect, we caught the Sunset overlooking much of the région of Limousin. It was one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen.
Dans l’appartement, chez nous, on a rechauffé du spaghetti bolognaise pour diner. En même temps, on a joué Puissance 4 et plus tard après avoir mangé on a joué Scrabble. En premier, on essayait de jouer avec des mots français. En fin, on n’a pas arrivé de trouver beaucoup de mots français, donc on a decidé de changer en langue anglaise. C’était un soir trop tranquille.
Back at the appartment, we reheated some spaghetti for diner. We played Connect Four at the same time, et later on after we finished eating we played Scrabble. At first, we played using French words. In the end, we couldn’t make many words so we decided to go back to English words. It was a chilled out night.
