Fried Fish Dinner At Sunset

Mmmm, street food. So delicious, nutritious and very, very well priced! Along the beaches in Alleppey, there are plenty of (high priced) restaurants serving beautiful seafood dishes. But get amongst it and share a meal with the locals and sit on the beach. We found a cart-vendor serving Fish Fry with Parrota and a very red Chutney. For 70 rupees, we got a whole fried fish dinner each, with two pieces of parrota and an individual serving of red chutney (spicy!).

This was definitely enough to satisfy our hunger, just wow a whole fish!

An ice cream for dessert to top it off was perfect as we strolled along the beach watching the sunset.
